Plan of Salvation
God provided a remedy for your sin.
Romans 5:8
But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
We must repent of our sins. All have sinned and have come up short of what God expects us. Therefore it is required of us to acknowledge our failure(s) toward God and ask Him to forgive us.
If we confess our sins to God, He is faithful and is justified (because of our acceptance of what Jesus has done for us) to forgive us of our sins and then He will cleanse us of them.

Christ sacrificed Himself on the cross
Romans 10:8-11
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
It is important for us to believe with all of our heart what the Bible says concerning Jesus. He was crucified on the cross for each of us. He was innocent and we are guilty. Because the Law of God declared that the soul that sins shall die, He took our place.
Not only must we believe that He died for us, we absolutely must believe and embrace that fact that God raised Him from the dead; which demonstrates to us the acceptance by God of His taking our place.
