The goal of Youth In Christ is to develope a Christian community of young people that is devoted to the purpose commissioned by our Savior, Jesus Christ. We will accomplish this goal through a purpose driven youth ministry. The members of Y.I.C. will continually implement five components to help us achieve our goal.

Briefly stated;
1.) We will study the Word and cultivate daily prayer
2.) We will praise and worship the Lord
3.) We will spread the gospel through witnessing
4.) We will gather together in fellowship and show love for one another.

The Youth Directors embrace and support our youth in their spiritual growth as disciples of Christ. This ministry takes a team approach and values the active support and involvement of parents and other caring adults.

Concerned members that encourage the youngsters of our church to graduate from highschool and to go on to college or technical school. Those that go on are assisted with securring possible scholarship funding available from various sources.

The group also awards a scholarship of its own. Donations are welcome.

Red Cross Disaster Shelter

Dozens of church member/volunteers are trained and certified by the American Red Cross to operate the facilities of Union as a disaster shelter in the event of a hurricane or some other crisis on the Gulf Coast.
